The drama series Rajjo that started on 22 August 2022 on StarPlus channel and digitaly on Disney plus Hotstar. It is basically Indian television show in Handi language.The show is produced by Bits N Bots Media and stars Celesti Bairagey, Rajveer Singh and Gungun Uprari in the titular roles. It is an official Hindi remake of Star Jalsha’s Aalta Phoring.

Casting

Celesti Bairagey was chosen after she released a video of herself in a Gangubai Kathiawadi clip, which went viral.Post Bairagey, Rajveer Singh and Gungun Uprari too were signed along with other actors to join the cast.

Release

The first promo of Rajjo was released in July 2022. It started from 22 August 2022.

Title

First recommend title was Udti Ka Naam Rajjo, then it was modified to Rajjo.

Story 

The story of daram is starting from a village. Where a girl whose name is rajjo lives with her mother. The poor mother caught the fish and sold at market to earn her livings. The daughter use to run for the sake to reach early in the market . So she could sell her fish . Rajjo’s mother gave her punishment for her habit of running. But rajjo is unable to understand why her mother became so angery while she ran . 

The other side is shown that rajjo’s mother was a athlete. She won medals in races. But one incident change her  life. The story was , rajjo’s mother fell in love with her Coach. When she was pregnant her Coach rejected her and denied  their relationship.  Rajjo’s mother career and life spoiled because of her Coach. 

Now ,the reason of hatred of rajjo’s mother is actual her fear of past. She is afraid by destiny and thought that it might be repeat with her daughter. So , she doesn’t want that her daughter become an athlete . Because she only forbid her daughter but doesn’t give any reason. That’s why rajjo continue her habit and at the end of day punishedby her mother. 

Arjun Singh os a businessman of fertilizers ,he come to visit the village people for his business. There came flood in village and the story turn that Rajjo go with Arjun for the sake to find hr mother as she got separate during flood. This was beginning and let see what will happen.
